Stan Kroenke just threw down on a new house.
Well, not a house, a ranch.
And well, not just any ranch, but a “mega-ranch” in Texas.
And well, not just any mega-ranch, but the largest ranch in these United States within a single fence.
It’s called The W.T. Waggoner Estate Ranch and its in Northwest Texas.
The ranch was listed at $725 million dollars. Kroenke is listed at being worth about $7.7 billion.
The ranch is 520,527 acres or 800 square miles.
The ranch, all by itself, is as big as half of Rhode Island.
The ranch is spread over six counties and totals 58 houses on two main compounds.
The ranch has 6,800 head of cattle, making it one of the 20 largest cattle ranches in the U.S. and it has 500 quarter horses.
The ranch also has 1,000 oil wells, 30,000 acres of cropland, and all kinds of wildlife with include deer, quail, feral hogs, waterfowl.
The property has never had allowed public gaming – but they have had presidents and dignitaries on site to get their hunt on.

As we know, Stan Kroenke has both business and Texas ties that make this purchase make a lot of sense, but there is also some personal ties. I think people often forget, Stan is married to Ann Walton Kroenke aka Ann Walton aka one of Bud Walton’s daughters aka one of Sam Waltons neices.
She is one of the heirs to the Walton fortune, so although Stan can probably cover the mortgage on this one himself, if he needed a little something on it from wifey, Ann might be able to throw in on it too.
